FIFA recently announced the results of the field test round robin conducted in Bergamo, Italy, in September 2011. For ISA Sport the outcome was three new FIFA accredited inspectors, bringing the total up to seventeen.
Each year, FIFA organises a number of practical tests for test institutes that are allowed to inspect football constructions on behalf of the international football association. There are separate field and laboratory tests, whereby the knowledge and skills of the participating test inspectors are assessed in a round robin-system.
The 2011 round robin field test was conducted in Bergamo, Italy, last September. ISA Sport was represented by a team made up of one senior inspector and three new inspectors. They successfully completed the tests, as recently announced by FIFA.
The three new inspectors have in the meantime been formally accredited by FIFA. In total, ISA Sport now has a total of seventeen FIFA accredited inspectors in the Netherlands and elsewhere in the world.
